Manulife Philippines, the local arm of global financial services leader Manulife, has teamed up once again with brand ambassadors Erwan Heussaff and his daughter Dahlia to premiere the third installment of their heartwarming video series — this time spotlighting the power of healthy eating habits.

The video, now live on Erwan’s social media channels, captures a cozy rainy day at home as the father-daughter duo bond over cooking tomato soup. The simple yet nourishing recipe reinforces the message that small steps in the kitchen can have a lasting impact on overall health.

“Teaching kids to eat right at an early age is just as critical as instilling values like honesty or kindness. It shapes their lifelong health, discipline, and relationship with food,” Erwan shared. “Obesity, diabetes, and other chronic diseases — once seen mostly in adults — are now affecting children. Healthy eating early can help prevent these long-term issues.”

Health Awareness vs. Action
Manulife Philippines’ latest research reveals a reality check for Filipinos:

  • 33% admit their lifestyle is unhealthy
  • 24% say they’re unsure what a healthy diet really means
  • The 2025 Manulife Asia Care Survey found that while Filipinos rank physical health as the most important factor to living longer, more than half regularly practice only 5 out of 17 key preventive health actions.

Through this collaboration, Erwan hopes to show that even the smallest everyday habits — like cooking simple, nutritious meals — can pave the way for a healthier lifestyle.

The Heussaff family also recently starred in Manulife Philippines’ brand campaign, “M Knows Better.”
