The Philippines’ hottest girl group BINI is back—bolder, fiercer, and more magnetic than ever—as they drop the highly anticipated music video for their latest single “Shagidi”, now streaming on their official YouTube channel.
Conceptualized by YouMeUs MNL, the vibrant and visually striking video features Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena serving powerful dance moves in a skate park while putting a modern twist on the nostalgic Filipino game “Shagidi Shagidi Shapopo.”
“We want to find ways to reflect who we are and where we come from. For our Filipino fans, we hope it sparks pride, and for our foreign audience, we want it to be a gateway to discover our country,” shared Jhoanna.
“Shagidi gave us a new BINI flavor—showing a fiercer, more adventurous side of ourselves,” added Aiah.
Originally released in June as part of the group’s BINIverse World Tour, which has taken them to Dubai, London, and cities across the US and Canada, “Shagidi” was created during a songwriting camp in Davao with Marqueze Parker, Tommy Brown, Courtin Jabrae, JBach, and Angela Ken.
The release follows a wave of wins for BINI, including Group Artist of the Year and Concert of the Year at The New Hue Video Music Awards, as well as OPM Artist of the Year and PPop Artist of the Year at Monster RX 93.1’s Monster Music Awards 2024.
Their global impact continues to grow as they score five nominations at the Jupiter Music Awards 2025, including Female Group of the Year, Album of the Year for BINIVerse, and Music Video of the Year for Cherry On Top (BINIMo Remix feat. Agnez Mo).
