Fresh off their win as grand champions of Tawag ng Tanghalan: Duets, JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano—now officially known as JMielle—are taking their music to the next level with the release of their debut EP, “JMielle in Love.”

Released under Star Music, the six-track mini album is a romantic deep dive into the many forms of love—from the joyful to the aching, the fleeting to the forever. Featuring five reimagined OPM hits and one original, the collection showcases JMielle’s signature vocal blend—equal parts passionate, powerful, and soul-stirring.
Leading the EP is their stunning rendition of “Paano Ba Ang Magmahal”, a song made iconic by Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimo in The Breakup Playlist. Their interpretation breathes new emotional life into the classic, capturing both the tenderness and the pain that come with loving deeply.
Also featured in “JMielle in Love” are fresh takes on beloved Filipino love songs, including:

- “Ikaw” by Yeng Constantino
- “Magpakailan Pa Man” by Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid
- “Parang Tayo Pero Hindi” by Angeline Quinto and Michael Pangilinan
- “Ikaw At Ako” by Moira Dela Torre and Jason Marvin Hernandez
Rounding out the EP is their previously released original track, “Pag Ang Puso Ang Nagsabi”—a song that perfectly captures the duo’s authentic approach to storytelling through music.
To celebrate the launch, JMielle held a sold-out show at Noctos Music Bar, where fans experienced the EP live for the very first time. The duo is also gearing up for their much-anticipated 2nd anniversary concert, “HEARTSTRINGS: Timeless Tunes of Love,” happening on August 22 (Friday) at SM North EDSA Skydome.
Whether you’re in love, moving on, or somewhere in between, “JMielle in Love” offers the perfect soundtrack for every kind of heart.
