Having been born and raised in the Philippines, Anna’s career in banking and finance took an unexpected turn when she embarked on an adventure to South America in 2016. It was in San Francisco that she discovered her true passion for storytelling after finding herself on stage. Inspired by this newfound calling, she founded WYSS in Singapore, helping people gain confidence in communication and refining their stories from seed to stage.
The heart of WYSS lies in its unique format. The event features eight captivating true tales told live on stage, offering the audience a one-of-a-kind immersion into the world of performative storytelling. Each storyteller is given five minutes to share their narrative, stripped of gimmicks and frills, just them and the microphone, baring their souls to the attentive audience.
