Who will emerge stronger in the Man versus Woman edition of R U Tough Enough? brought to you by KIX?

Toughness can be viewed differently. Males are defined by their brute physical strength and women are by their resilience and ability to withstand emotional pressure. If we put them against each other, we’ll we be able to find out who will emerge tougher?

For a whopping grand prize of P250,000 cash, 5 male and 5 female contestants are going to go toe to toe on the “Man versus Woman edition of R U Tough Enough? brought to you by KIX, the ultimate destination for action entertainment. The said event is on its third year and the participants will prove among themselves who is the tougher gender.

The women’s team will be lead by Aubrey Miles while the men’s team is spearheaded by Arnold Aninion. These two health buffs will be representing #TeamAubrey and #TeamArnold.

Actress-turned-fitness trainer, Aubrey Miles is one tough cookie. She has displayed tenacity and strong-will in facing life’s challenges. As a teenager, she has supported her family, fought through life’s challenges and is the epitome of a strong woman.

“I’m very excited to be chosen as the first female ambassador for R U Tough Enough? Filipinos are tough, especially women, they never give up even get hit by all kinds of life adversities.  Like me, I struggled to get my life back after giving birth and start everything over again by myself.  Everything that I have and where am at now is from my hard work and being tougher inside and outside.  So I encourage my fellow Pinays out there to join R U Tough Enough? Let’s show them women are really tough,” said Aubrey.

On the other hand, Arnold Aninion switched from being a national rugby player to a body builder and has spent numerous hours of physical training as a fitness enthusiat.

“Being tough is a balance of being physically and mentally strong. I believe that we can accomplish anything if we just set our minds to it.Much like the Pinoy spirit. Pinoys are so resilient that we get up every time life brings us down.I challenge everyone to test your limits and join R U Tough Enough?,” said Arnold.

“In this year’s R U Tough Enough?, we are excited to go beyond the stereotype that men are tougher than women with our very own battle of Man versus Woman. We’re sure that this will make for an enthralling competition, as we know that toughness isn’t limited to physical strength; it is also a test of mental endurance.  And a big thank you to our sponsors and partners for supporting this program,” said Shirley Cheong, Executive Director of Marketing at KIX, Hong Kong.

Entering R U Tough Enough is not an easy task, contestants are screened thoroughly, first by the most inspiring stories, next is shortlisting the 10 lucky individuals and then they will finally compete at the final showdown to get the chance to bag P250,000 and earn the title of “The Toughest Pinoy”
