The Art of Cocktail Painting at Buddha Bar Manila

At the 2014 Cocktail Festival 2014, renowned International Bar Mixologist Mathias Giroud of Buddha Bar impressed the bar’s patrons with the art of Cocktail Painting. Equipped with the easel of ingredients, he painted concoctions of superb mixes not only to drink but also to look at. A feast to the eyes and the palette.

The Cocktail Festival 2014 that traveled across the globe, introduced the trendiest and yummiest cocktail drinks of 2014 exclusive to Buddha Bar Manila guests.  French mixologist Mathias Giroud, also known as The Alchemist,  traveled across the world to showcase his 2014 mix creations to different international Buddha Bar locations. He displayed his art in Manila from March 19 for 4 days.

Last March 22, I was invited to witness his showcase of cocktail paintings and how to mix the newest mixes exclusive to Buddha Bar Manila.

Here are some of the mixes that he did and the fascinating art of cocktail painting.

It was definitely an experience watching how Mathias Giroud did the mixes artfully and of course having a taste of how great the drinks were.
