Pokémon UNITE set release on Wednesday, September 22!

The Pokémon Company (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara) is happy to announce the following about the mobile version of the downloadable game Pokémon UNITE:

  1. The planned release date for the mobile version has been set! Now accepting preregistrations!
  2. Preregistration campaign for the mobile version now under way!
  3. Introducing new Pokémon to be added in future updates!

The planned release date for the mobile version of Pokémon UNITE has been set for Wednesday, September 22, 2021. In anticipation of this release, preorder has begun on the App Store and preregistration has begun on Google

The basic gameplay of Pokémon UNITE is available at no cost. (Some in-game purchases available.)

The game is supported on both the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, and you can enjoy strategic Pokémon team battles together with other players no matter what device you use to play the game.

The Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon UNITE has already been released and is a big hit! It can be downloaded from the Nintendo eShop at no cost, so we hope you’ll check it out as well.

Preregistration campaign for the mobile version now under way!
A preregistration campaign for the mobile version of Pokémon UNITE is now under way. Preregistration numbers will be calculated starting Wednesday, August 18, 2021, and will continue until the release of the mobile version of Pokémon UNITE. Players will be able to receive gifts based on the number of preregistrations.

The gifts get better and better as the number of preregistrations grows (in all regions where the game is available). If we pass 1 million preregistrations, players will receive Aeos tickets, which can be exchanged for in-game items. If we pass 2.5 million preregistrations, players will receive the Unite license for Pikachu. Finally, if we pass 5 million preregistrations, players will receive special Holowear for Pikachu called Festival Style!

If over 5 million preregistrations are made, players will receive a special Holowear for Pikachu called Festival Style.

Introducing new Pokémon to be added in future updates!
With the planned release date for the mobile version set, Pokémon UNITE is becoming more and more of a hot topic! Many new Pokémon are planned to join the fray in the future. Here, we would like to introduce two such new Pokémon: Mamoswine and Sylveon! We hope you’re looking forward to hearing more about these new additions!
