PH teams triumph in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024

The Filipino Teams took home the victory from the Asia Pacific Predators League 2024 as Blacklist Rivalry and Team Secret were hailed champions for esports DOTA 2 and Valorant.

The Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 this year was a huge success with sold-out tickets and worldwide audience.

The Predator Shield was won by Blacklist Rivalry and Team Secret in their respective divisions, as 26 teams competed for the top spot in Dota 2 and Valorant.

According to Andrew Hou, President of Acer Pan Asia Pacific Operations, “the success of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 is indicative of the strength of the region’s growing esports community and the Predator brand devices’ ability to support intense gaming sessions when playing the most popular titles.”

In addition to live esports activity, the crowd was treated to exceptional entertainment including some of the most prominent personalities in the Philippines, such as Acer ambassadors SB19 and Sarah Geronimo. Also, there were meet-and-greets with cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao, burg, KuyaNic, Chibiby, Maggiekarp, amaratv, Een Mercado, Kang Dupet, and Predator ambassadors Cong TV and the Team Payaman boys.

Day 1’s opening acts, Felip and Ylona Garcia, captivated the audience with their thrilling  performance, followed by Urbandub, Al James’s performances and Justin De Dios hosting.

Team Payaman, SB19, and Burg showmatch made the crowd scream and audience were “kilig” with TV personality Donny Pangilinan’s  special appearance.

Josh Cullen, Sandwich, Spongecola, Pablo and KZ Tandingan who sang the Predator anthem “It Lies Within’ all put an incredible performance on Day 2 .

After the event, it was revealed that Malaysia would host the next Asia Pacific Predator League, with the grand finals taking place in  early 2025 and the qualifiers  beginning in  late 2024.
