John Aguilar at His Book Launch Featuring Notable Investors and Startup Founders

Best-selling author John Aguilar invites the public to attend the Philippine launch of his book, “The Art and Science of the Pitch: The Ultimate Playbook for Pitching to Partners, Investors, and Reality TV Shows”. The event, which is being held in partnership with National Bookstore and Shangri-La Plaza, will take place on January 25th at 4pm at the East Wing Atrium of the Shangri-La Plaza East Wing in Mandaluyong.

Aspiring entrepreneurs, members of the Philippine startup community, students, and fans of John’s TV show, “The Final Pitch” on CNN Philippines are welcome to attend to purchase and get their books signed personally by John. Attendees will also have the opportunity to interact with John and other guests, including investors and startups from “The Final Pitch”, business leaders, media, and startup ecosystem stakeholders.

“The Art and Science of the Pitch” explores insights gathered from John’s travels to some of the world’s biggest tech companies and ecosystems, such as Silicon Valley, Israel, and Southeast Asia. It features interviews with renowned investors and venture capitalists, successful startup leaders, and pitch deck experts, and identifies the key components of a pitch that make an impact.

The Philippine book launch will bring together business leaders, startups, and fans of “The Final Pitch” for an interactive book reading and signing event. John, who is the founder and host of “The Final Pitch” and CEO of Dragon’s Nest, a Manila-based startup ecosystem enabler, shares in his book his entrepreneurial journey and the valuable lessons, tips, and techniques he has learned from the minds of successful founders.

John says that the book also highlights the challenges and triumphs of startups from the Philippines, which he describes as “a perfect case study of a country with an emerging startup community with boundless opportunities and a plethora of problems it is now poised to solve.”
