Uncoupling

First on our list is a mini-series released on 2019, directed by Dwein Baltazar. The story of this 6-episode series is about high school sweethearts turned husband and wife, Alex and Peter decides to end their relationship after 16 years of being together. With both parties determined to keep their family intact for the sake of their son, they both struggle with the complexities of transitioning from being “coupled” to “uncoupled” which Alex finds harder to navigate.

This series starred ABS-CBN’s prestigious actors namely Joseph Marco, Yam Concepcion, Cindy Miranda, Cedrick Juan, Menggie Cobarrubias, and many more. So, don’t forget to watch it and witness if Alex will be able to cope up uncoupling Peter.

Oh, Mando

Moving on to one of the top trending shows on iWant TFC, freshly released from last year, a mini-series directed by Eduardo W. Roy Jr. The story revolves around a charming but timid college student Mando – your typical hopeless romantic guy. He meets Barry, an out-and-proud basketball star who is practically a prince from a fairytale. The only thing spoiling Mando’s happy ending is the fact that Barry already has a boyfriend. To move on, Mando goes out with liberated architecture student Krisha and the two become lovers. Until one fateful day, Barry walks back into Mando’s life.

This fantasy-romantic series starred Kokoy de Santos, Barbie Imperial, Alex Diaz, Ron Angeles, and Dominic Ochoa. Watch this series and find out what will happen on Mando’s so-called fairytale love story.

I am U

Next on our list is a series released on 2020, directed by Dwein Baltazar, this series follows a girl named Elise, after the untimely death of her sister, suddenly experiences uncanny things around her. She feels being followed around, but instead sees an image of herself. It turns out that Elise has a doppelgänger named Rose. Out of curiosity, Elise invites Rose into her life, and introduces the latter to her family, her friends, and even her boyfriend. During a game of “Truth or Dare” that soon leads to a tragic accident. She and her friends cover up the incident and decide to put everything behind them- until they all fall into their mysterious deaths one by one.

Watch Julia Barretto, Tony Labrusca, Kokoy de Santos, Adrianna So, and many more on this series. This series is perfect for those people who likes watching Mystery and Crime drama!

Bawal Lumabas

Bawal lumabas, pero p’wedeng manood – next on our list is a series released last year. The story revolves with Emerald hoping a better future for her siblings. When she comes back to Philippines, she discover that her youngest sister Jade has become rebellious, and refuses to follow her rules such as Bawal Lumabas, Bawal Mag-barkada, Bawal Mag-boyfriend, and so on. To keep an eye on her, Emerald decided to go back to school and enroll in Jade’s class.

This mini-series starred Kim Chiu, Rafael Rosell, Francine Dia, Kyle Echarri, and many more. If you want to chill for a while and laugh for a today, make sure to watch this series!

Mga Batang Poz

Down to our last series recommendation today is a series released on 2019, one of the top trending series on iWant TFC! This series was directed by Chris Martinez, and originally this was based on Segundo Matias Jr.’s novel with the same titles. The story revolves around four teenagers, all HIV positive and members of Love is Brave – a support group for people living with HIV – decide to meet in a cafe.

This includes Luis (Fino Herrera), the school heartthrob and a Chinese businessman’s son; Enzo (Paolo Gumabao) who have body and family issues; Gab (Mark Neumann), the dutiful son of a town mayor; and Chuchay (Awra Briguela), an urban poor who works to support his family. This series tackles a big social issue and I’m you’ll learn something from it so don’t forget to watch this series!
