Interactive Mural by Wilkins Celebrates the New Generation Workforce

Wilkins Pure to mount murals across Metro Manila as a reminder to take care of ourselves

Filipinos are known for their hardworking nature, dedicating themselves to their professions and providing for their loved ones. This strong work ethic, coupled with a deep sense of family values, is a source of pride in our culture.

Given the importance of supporting their families, the main providers and breadwinners cannot afford to fall ill. The increasing prevalence of water-borne diseases in the country has made health a more pressing concern for Filipinos.

In recognition of this, Coca-Cola Philippines, through its Wilkins Pure brand, is making an effort to offer peace of mind to the new generation of Filipino workers by providing safe and high-quality drinking water. For the past 27 years since its launch in 1997, the company has been committed to being a reliable health partner for Filipinos and their families.

As a gesture of continuous support, Wilkins has unveiled an interactive mural that pays tribute to these hardworking Filipinos. Participants have the opportunity to leave special messages, acknowledging the breadwinners in their families and expressing appreciation for their tireless efforts. This art installation also serves as a reminder for individuals to prioritize the well-being of themselves, their families, and their country. Wilkins Pure stands as a trusted partner in health, starting with the essential aspect of proper hydration. With Wilkins Pure, they can be sure of the water’s safety and quality.

Cesar Gangoso, ASEAN and South Pacific East Region Frontline Marketing Director at Coca-Cola Philippines, shared, “Staying healthy begins with proper hydration, and we hope our artwork can inspire the Filipino workforce to always be at their best so they can continue supporting the most important people in their lives. With every bottle of Wilkins Pure, you can trust that you are getting water that is internationally certified safe and free from unseen contaminants. We take immense pride in our efforts that adhere to our Global Purification Standards, ensuring that customers receive drinking water of the highest quality.”

The interactive mural serves as a testament to Wilkins’ commitment to the well-being of hardworking Filipinos. It encourages them to stay healthy, take care of their families, and rely on Wilkins Pure as a trusted source of safe and pure drinking water.

A collaboration between local street art collective Gerilya and Wilkins, an interactive mural has been unveiled at SM Megamall. The artwork showcases professionals from various industries, including police officers, teachers, entrepreneurs, and ride-sharing drivers, among others. These individuals have witnessed a significant increase in their roles and responsibilities as our way of life has evolved over the past few years. Situated strategically in the main bus terminal station of the area, where thousands of Filipinos pass through daily to begin their workday or return home after a long day, the mural aims to capture their attention and inspire them.

Marianne Rios of Gerilya expressed, “Every artwork we create is dedicated to the people. This particular piece is refreshing because it allows us to highlight the well-being of the New Generation Workforce. By incorporating elements of Filipino culture and traditions, we want to remind people to prioritize their health. We cannot fulfill our responsibilities if we don’t take care of ourselves.”

In the coming months, more murals paying tribute to the diverse range of Filipino workers in today’s New Generation Workforce will be unveiled in key areas of Metro Manila.
