Global Pop Star Jamie Miller joins forces with PH agency NYMA prepares visit to Manila

International pop sensation Jamie Miller, renowned for his chart-topping hit “Here’s Your Perfect,” has joined forces with talent management agency NYMA, marking an exciting collaboration in his career.

This partnership was made possible through the recently established alliance between NYMA and EN Management, setting the stage for Jamie’s highly anticipated trip to Manila in September.

Notably, this isn’t the first time NYMA, the talent management branch of KROMA Entertainment, and LA-based EN Management have come together to represent international talent in the Philippines. Their inaugural collaboration featured K-Pop sensation Eric Nam’s successful launch and visit to Manila.

Eddie Nam, CEO and Founder of EN Management, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “NYMA’s professionalism and shared core values with EN Management made our collaboration on the Jamie Miller project an obvious choice.” He continued, “We’ve long aspired to be more active in The Philippines. I’m particularly thrilled for people to witness Jamie’s live performances and connect with his fans in person. Neither Jamie nor I have visited Manila before, so this upcoming trip is a significant moment we eagerly anticipate.”

Jamie Miller, in his own subtle way, had hinted at this exciting visit several months prior to the official announcement, teasing fans through an Instagram post.

Currently residing in Los Angeles, the Welsh artist first gained widespread recognition back in 2017 during his audition on the 6th season of The Voice UK. His emotionally charged performances propelled him to the semi-finals, ultimately securing a commendable third-place finish. This marked the inception of his remarkable musical journey.

Fast forward to 2021, and Jamie Miller’s track “Here’s Your Perfect” found its way onto the internet, swiftly becoming the soundtrack of choice for emotionally charged videos and covers on TikTok. This smash hit catapulted him even higher into the limelight, amassing a staggering 380 million streams, securing the 100th spot on the Spotify Top 200 chart, and an impressive second position on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart. The single’s phenomenal success continued as it remained on the Billboard Global 200 EX Chart for 13 consecutive weeks and maintained a presence in the Global Top 100 on YouTube Music for two months.

His talent has garnered admiration from renowned artists like Sam Smith, Kelly Clarkson, P!nk, and Jennifer Hudson. Additionally, Jamie Miller has made waves in Asia, with notable reposts from Jisoo of Blackpink, Tablo of Epik High, NCT, The Boyz, and many others. Even Filipino celebrities have joined the #HeresYourPerfect challenge, with notable participants including Morissette, Kristel Fulgar, and Stell of SB19, among others.

Jamie unveiled his newest single, “Maybe Next Time,” through BMG on May 31. Remarkably, even before its official release, the track had accumulated an impressive 31K pre-saves and garnered an astounding 15 million views on TikTok. This remarkable reception marked it as his most significant streaming debut to date.

Furthermore, Jamie has showcased his versatility by collaborating with Asian talents, including South Korea’s Young K and the Philippines’ own Moira Dela Torre, to create revamped versions of his songs.

Jamie Miller eagerly looks forward to the opportunity to connect with his fans around the world, transcending the digital realm for genuine, in-person interactions. He expresses his heartfelt gratitude to his dedicated fanbase, acknowledging that they are the driving force behind the massive success of his song. Their unwavering support motivates him to perform live shows, and he can hardly contain his excitement about sharing those moments and hearing them sing along with him.

Kat Bautista, the Head of NYMA, reflects on a memorable live performance by Jamie in 2022, where his remarkable vocal range, undeniable talent, and humble personality left a lasting impression. At that time, she extended an open invitation for Jamie to explore opportunities in the Philippines. Little did she know that this aspiration would become a reality just a year later, thanks to the exceptional collaboration with EN Management.

Regarding NYMA’s plans for Jamie, Kat shares, “With Jamie’s exceptional skills aligning seamlessly with the dynamic Philippine market, we’ve only scratched the surface of what’s to come. At NYMA, we eagerly anticipate presenting a multitude of immersive, in-person experiences featuring Jamie as we embark on an exciting journey to showcase his artistry to an ever-expanding audience.”

NYMA, known for representing prominent Filipino artists such as Kristel Fulgar, Abi Marquez, Frances Cabatuando of Home Buddies, and visual artist Raco Ruiz, has expanded its horizons to represent international stars in the Philippines.

Kat emphasizes that NYMA’s vision goes beyond nurturing Filipino talents and elevating Filipino entertainment on the global stage. Their overarching mission is to facilitate greater international exchange of talent, transcending geographical boundaries. This includes bringing exceptional artists closer to their Filipino audience and promoting Filipino talent on the global stage. The collaboration with EN Management to champion artists like Jamie Miller and Eric Nam is a realization of this long-cherished vision.

Listeners can stream Jamie Miller’s “Maybe Next Time” on Spotify and Apple Music, with further announcements about his upcoming visit to Manila on the horizon.

Jamie Miller is under the BMG label and is represented by EN Management, Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, and Wasserman.
