This September 9, 2019, 2 p.m. Philippine time, Fujifilm globally announced their latest camera, the new Fujifilm X-A7. Targeted as a premium consumer camera, its impressive specification and features make it an ideal photo, video and vlogging camera for enthusiasts. They termed it as the #SmartMirrorless camera.
Here are the reasons why:
A. #SMARTDISPLAY
The 3.5″ Touchscreen LCD is one of my favorite SMART feature of the X-A7. Now with vari-angle capability, new to the Fujifilm line, the screen flips to the side instead of vertical like the X-A5. The screen can be easily adjusted for low or high viewpoint angles, and most important is that you can flip it facing you while Vlogging for easy framing and composition.
The bright high-resolution 2,760K-dot monitor makes it easier to see the display even outside in sunny weather.
The screen can be folded and reversed for protection when not in used and during transport.

Depth Control
When you press the depth control on screen button, you can set the depth of field to control if the background will be blurred (bokeh) or sharp. The user does not have to know the technicalities of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to make great photos. Really #SmartMirrorless!
Brightness / Exposure Compensation
With the Exposure Compensation button, you can adjust the brightness of your photo according to your preference whether slighly dark, mid or brighter. Again, no photography tech knowledge required, just like a phone!
Film Simulation
With the Film Simulation button, you can switch to different film simulation for your artistic & color preferences. You can even preview the onscreen the effect of the film simulation that you are choosing versus the currently selected one by touching and sliding the

In addition to FHD in 60p, the X-A7 can record 4k videos up to 30 fps (29.97p) but still have an option for 24p and even 23.98 for the cinematic motion blur for your videos.
Countdown Video
You can set the maximum video clip length for a more controlled like setting it to maximum of 30 seconds.
High-speed Video
It can record High Speed Movie at 720p（1280×720) at 1.6x / 2x / 3.3x / 4x speed for your slow motion cinematic b-rolls.

Use the intelligent flash when it’s too dark to give illumination. The X-A7 flash gives you a balanced subject to scene ambient light ratio so that your indoor photos does not look too “flash” or with dark background.
It can be also used to fill-in your subject in backlit situations or as a fill-in during bright sunlight shoots to avoid the racoon eyes look of having dark shadows under your eyes.
HDR
Use the HDR mode for backlighted subjects like against a bright window or sunset backdrop shots.
Light Trails
