A spy for the Korean intelligence services walks a fine line between being a model agent and the perfect husband and misses the explosive secret his beloved wife has been keeping from him

Coming to Disney+ on April 17th, “Family: The Unbreakable Bond” is a Korean spy comedy series that follows the story of Kwon Dohoon, a highly accomplished agent for South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) who has managed to lead a secret double life as a family man for years. Despite his efforts to keep his occupation hidden from his family and friends, Dohoon’s world quickly turns upside down when things go awry.

Jang Hyuk (known for his work in “Money Flower” and “Deep Rooted Tree”) plays the lead role of Kwon Dohoon, while Chang Nara (“The Last Empress,” “VIP”) portrays Kang Yura, a housewife with a secret of her own. Chae Jungan (“Coffee Prince,” “Yong-pal”) joins the cast as Oh Chunryun, Dohoon’s boss at NIS.

Directed by Jang Jeongdo (“Alchemy of Souls,” “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim”) and Lee Junkmuk (“Our Blues”), and written by Jung Yousun (“Evergreen”), “Family: The Unbreakable Bond” promises to be an exciting addition to the Korean drama genre.

Fans of Korean dramas can subscribe to Disney+ now to enjoy access to “Big Bet,” about a serial entrepreneur wanted for murder; “Big Mouth,” about an inept lawyer who becomes the key suspect in a murder case; “Soundtrack #1,” about two friends secretly in love with each other, and other world-class entertainment.

“Family: The Unbreakable Bond” is produced by Studio Dragon, one of CJ ENM’s production studios, and will stream on Disney+ with new episodes released every Monday and Tuesday starting April 17th.
