Janice Javier Live in Concert

I attended a blogcon last June 25 at the MCA office for Janice Javier’s self-titled debut album, and her upcoming solo concert on July 4, 2014. She started the blogcon by rendering 2 songs with minus one which includes one of my favorites “Starting Over Again”.

“The Voice of the Philippines” finalist really wowed the bloggers who attended including me hearing her live for the first time.

The Concert

Janice will be having a concert entitled “The Voice of Janice Javier, Live in Concert”. This will be on the 4th of July 2014, Friday, 8 in the evening at Teatrino, Greenhills. The Album

With the record and management deal with MCA Music, Janice released an album with songs including:

her original song and collaboration with her coach Apl.de.Ap, “Breathe”
covers of “Why Can’t It Be”, “Heaven Knows”, “I Believe I Can Fly”
her version of “Starting Over Again” which was used in the promotional trailer of the same top-grossing movie

She was known as one of the “divas” from the first season of The Voice of the Philippines. Her powerful and soulful voice comparable to Aretha Franklin. In fact, four-chairs turned around during her Blind Auditions but she chose international rapper, The Black Eyed Peas member, Apl.de.Ap as her Coach.
