Epson Philippines Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Outstanding Customer Service

Epson, the global technology leader, is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the Philippines with a remarkable achievement – recognition for its outstanding customer support provided at Epson Service Centers. In the Best Customer Service 2023 survey conducted by Statista and the Philippine Daily Inquirer in the Home Goods and Consumer Electronics category, Epson Philippines secured the top position. This recognition, based on an independent nationwide survey with over 11,000 participants, underscores Epson’s unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional support and assistance to its customers. The focus is on accessibility, communication, and professional competence, and this acknowledgment highlights Epson’s dedication to providing an outstanding customer experience.

“We are inspired by our customers’ confidence in us to keep pursuing service excellence,” said Masako Kusama, President and Director of Epson Philippines. “This recognition inspires us to continue providing top-notch customer support and exceed expectations.”

Epson Philippines has experienced substantial growth over the years, largely driven by its innovative and sustainable solutions, customer-centric approach, and dedicated team.

“At Epson, we harness our efficient, compact, and precise innovations to create positive and meaningful change in the world,” emphasized Kusama. “We firmly believe that energy-saving solutions and space-saving innovations contribute to improving business operations and safeguarding our environment.”

Epson Philippines has consistently achieved year-over-year growth, propelled by its continuous ink supply system (CISS) printers, CAD printers, projectors, scanners, and large format printers. The company’s emphasis on driving B2B transformation through digital leverage and streamlined operations has been a key factor in its success in the market.

According to the International Data Corporation (IDC), Epson dominated the market in various product categories in 2022, with a 51% market share for inkjet printers, 67% for ColorWorks printers, 36% for CAD, and 83% for photo printers. Epson also emerged as the leading brand in POS printers, textile printers, scanners, and high brightness projectors.

The company has set its sights on increasing its year-over-year growth from 8% in 2022 to 12% in 2023.

Epson Philippines remains strongly committed to a greener future. Epson’s dedication to local and global environmental preservation is evident in its numerous initiatives and accomplishments. The company successfully transitioned its manufacturing plant in Batangas to geothermal and hydroelectric power in 2021, fulfilling its global commitment to shift to renewable energy across all manufacturing sites ahead of the 2023 deadline.

Additionally, Epson’s product range is designed to reduce environmental impact through its heat-free technology, enabling its printers to consume less electricity compared to laser printers, while high-capacity ink tanks enhance operational efficiency.

“Sustainability is a key priority for Epson, and this is reflected across all aspects of our business,” shared Kusama. “The realization of our goal cannot be achieved by Epson employees alone. It requires empathy and shared purpose among our customers, partners, and society.”

Epson Philippines has also established strategic partnerships with organizations such as WWF-Philippines to address pressing environmental issues and contribute to a green future. Collaborative projects focused on mangrove conservation and restoration, climate change education, and sustainable food production systems aim to protect the country’s rich biodiversity and empower local communities.

Through these initiatives, Epson Philippines is dedicated to laying the groundwork for a low-carbon society and educating the public for a lasting impact.

“With our consistently strong business performance, unwavering commitment to sustainability, and customer service recognition, I believe Epson Philippines is poised to continue leading the way in the technology industry,” concluded Kusama.
