Unravel: A Swiss Side Love Story is a romance-drama film set in Switzerland. It was one of the 2023 Summer MMFF entries, directed by RC Delos Reyes under Mavx Productions. “Swiss Side” is a play on the idea of suicide, which the film heavily addresses.

The movie focuses on the role of “human connection” in suicide and assisted voluntary death (AVD), which is legal in Switzerland. The narrative follows the lives of Lucy and Noah, two people who meet by chance in the charming city of Switzerland.

Lucy Hermosa (Kylie Padilla) is a successful woman who travels to Switzerland with the goal of ending her life. Lucy wants to participate in AVD, and while she was waiting for her time to come, she met Noah Brocker (Gerald Anderson), a fellow Filipino whose objective is to inspire people to see the positive aspects of life.
