Summer is about fun, water activities, water sports, adventure and bonding with family and friends! Last March 23, 2015, Aquaria Beach Resort invited me and fellow bloggers for a day trip to their beach resort in Calatagan, Batangas to have a taste of what an active fun filled day in summer will look like if you visit their resort.
Meeting up in Makati, we drove almost 3 hours via Tagaytay to the town of Calatagan, Batangas, a famous place for beach resorts.
Aquaria Beach Resort is a beach resort cum water park managed by Fuego Hotels & Properties and developed by Landco Pacific Corporation. It boasts of a 525 meters of beach line along the Playa Calatagan Residences which houses residential resort properties in the future.
Here are some of the fun activities that we enjoyed that day at Aquaria Beach Resort:
WATERSLIDE & POOL
The centerpiece of Aquaria Beach Resort is the 40 feet giant water slide. Surrounded by the pool with the cabanas, umbrella tables, sun bathing bed, it is quite a picturesque area for taking photos and enjoying the swim at the cool fresh waters. The thrill of the giant water slide is popular with kids and adults alike. We definitely had a great time at the water slide. Check out the video below and see how much fun we had!
The Beach
At the beach, aside from swimming its clear waters, the beach is a great place to play, unwind, relax and bond with family and friends.
In addition, you can enjoyed different water sports: Kayaking, Banana Boat ride to name a few.
KAYAKING
For a bit of physical exercise rowing, we can enjoyed kayaking in the serene waters. We enjoyed cruising and loved the views of the shore and nearby natural and man made structures. Check out the video of our kayaking and enjoy the view.
BANANA BOAT RIDE
For more exciting fast paced water activity, we tried the banana boat ride. Pulled by a jet ski, we can enjoyed the thrill of speed and bouncing up and down the waves. You can adjust the thrill of the ride by telling the operator if you just want to cruise or be thrilled with the high speed turns and bounces that makes you fall out of the boat! We just wanted to cruise. Check out the video of our fun banana boat ride.
FOOD
Those water activities definitely made us hungry! For lunch, we went to the in-house restaurant called The Sands. We enjoyed the lovely buffet available with the surf and turf grills!
You can also order ala-carte from their menu.
SUNSET
After the active activities of swimming, sliding, and water sports activities, we relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful sunset view from the beach. Get ready to capture some dramatic nature color drama if you are into photography or event just to get a great backdrop for your selfie or jump shot!
