Cardinal Santos Hospital on Wheels Participates in this Year’s UPCAT

Cardinal Santos Medical Center’s Hospital On Wheels (HOW) will be present during the upcoming University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) on June 3 and 4, demonstrating the medical institution’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and support for the UP community.

Located near Palma Hall at the UP Diliman Campus in Quezon City, the HOW and Cardinal On Wheels (COW) will have Caring Cardinal doctors available to provide emergency medical assistance to UPCAT test-takers throughout the two-day examination period.

“We are honored to be of service to the UP Diliman community through our Hospital On Wheels,” expressed Raul C. Pagdanganan, UP Regent and Cardinal Santos President and CEO. “This initiative stems from Cardinal Santos’ dedication to delivering quality healthcare to diverse communities. I wish all UPCAT takers the best of luck and hope to see you not only as part of the UP community but also as future leaders and partners in nation building.”

Leo D.P. Cubillan, Vice President of Academic Affairs at the University of the Philippines, stated, “For the UPCAT this Saturday and Sunday, we’re anticipating over 30,000 test-takers. To ensure the health and safety of our participants, parents, and companions, we have collaborated with Cardinal Santos Medical Center. That’s why we have the Hospital On Wheels on campus during the UPCAT days.”
