Beat the Heat at Scramblets Cafe!

TARLAC, PHILIPPINES – As a Filipino, when you grew up playing outside or having those after-school snacks, you most likely stumbled upon what we call ice scramble.

Remember that pink cold dessert topped with powdered milk, mini-marshmallows, sprinkles and even with chocolate syrup at times? What if this all-time favorite Filipino dessert had a leveled-up version with different unique flavors?

Here at Scramblets Cafe, our Wazzup.PH Food review team was able to witness the cute and aesthetic branch in Tarlac, and also taste their different best-selling flavors!

90’s Classic

The OG, the taste that would bring you back to the days where you always tried to chase down the vendor just to have this sweet sweet cup of refreshing dessert.

We all know this taste the best right after a long day at school. A spoonful of this 90’s classic will instantly bring you to the nostalgic feeling – a time machine that makes you travel back to when we were younger!

I also love that in Scramblets, you’ll never feel like the milk is not enough, because on every layer of ice, there’s a generous amount waiting!

Ube Flan

This is my personal favorite. As someone who loves ube-flavored anything, this really lived its name.

The flavor of ube-ness is really there and not just a color-change on the ice scramble. Plus, the milkyness and the sweet cubes of leche flan on top complimented the flavor!

It’s personally something I would come back for!

Mango Float

Now this is our videographer’s personal favorite. As Filipinos, we love mango graham cake – whether it’s for Christmas celebrations, it’s New Year’s celebrations or maybe it’s just really hot in temperature and we want something sweet, there’s always Mango Graham Cake.

Thus, we also created the play on floats and mango graham – creating mango float!

Now, imagine this flavor in a scramble. Packed with all the mango slices and the graham crackers plus all the default ice scramble toppings, you have two desserts in one spoonful!

Choco-Loco

Go loco over choco! If you’re a huge fan of chocolate, you will definitely make the efforts to taste this. With extra chocolate syrup, chocolate wafers sticks and pretzels, you will enjoy this ice scramble twist!

The flavor tastes like a fusion of our favorite chocolate malts – it surely was a blast as I think kids would like this the most!

This was served to us with their special mini-size – this is exclusive for when customers want Scramblets Cafe to be part of their birthday parties, dedications, or even weddings!

Scramblets would offer to place a picture of the celebrant on each mini-cup to truly emphasize the star of the show!
