Mang Inasal Launches the ‘National Halo-Halo Sarap Day’ on March 19

Now that it’s summertime, the only way to beat the summer heat is to plunge to the beach into our favorite Filipino dessert, the ‘halo-halo‘. If you haven’t seen or tasted one before, it is a Filipino dessert that conists of crushed/shaved ice, then generously sprinkled with ingredients like langka, beans, pinipig, gulaman, sago, leche flan, a scoop of sorbetes/ice cream, and then milk poured over the toppings. The ingredients may vary, but its main characteristic is a melting pot of different textures, and sweet flavors.
