Araneta City Brings Back PPOPCON in a Bigger and Better Way

Get ready, PPOP enthusiasts! The Pinoy Pop Convention (PPOPCON) is back at its official home, Araneta City, the City of Firsts, and it promises to be bigger, better, and bolder than ever before! Join the fun on March 18 to 19 as PPOP artists and fans come together for a celebration filled with exciting activities.

In its second year, PPOPCON will be more meaningful for fans with a plethora of fanbase activities, booths, official merch selling, games, and PPOP performances at the New Frontier Theater. The event culminates in a mega-concert featuring today’s biggest and rising PPOP idols at the Araneta Coliseum.

This year, PPOPCON is bringing PPOP idols closer to their fans with a series of mall shows in Araneta City. The mall tour kicked off on February 4 with 6ENSE and YARA at Ali Mall. Another one is scheduled on February 26 with Valfer, MONA, VER5US, HYV, BLVCK FLOWERS, and SMS at the Gateway Mall.

PPOPCON also aims to give back to the community with charity days, where PPOP idols will spend time with kids supported by the J. Amado Araneta Foundation. Groups 1st.One and DIONE have already spent time with kids from Gawad Kalinga for a history tour at the Gateway Gallery on February 24, and another visit is being set at the Art in Island together with VXON, G22, and YML.

PPOPCON was first staged in April 2022 to celebrate the rising global recognition of PPOP talent, symbolically marking the return of live music entertainment in the Philippines after the temporary halt caused by the COVID pandemic. In 2023, the celebration continues as some of the most popular PPOP artists such as SB19, BGYO, BINI, 4TH IMPACT, MNL48, 1ST. ONE, ALAMAT, PRESS HIT PLAY, VXON, G22, KAIA, and more, showcase their talents and interact with fans in one ultimate gathering. Don’t miss out on the biggest event celebrating local pop music, happening soon in Araneta City!
