Starting March 23, Prime Video members in over 240 countries and territories, including the Philippines, can exclusively stream “Walang KaParis” on the platform.

The teaser key art for the upcoming romantic drama Walang KaParis, an Amazon Original Movie, has been released by Prime Video. The movie reunites the popular tandem of Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez, known as Alempoy, under the direction of Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, who helmed their breakout hit Kita Kita (I See You) in 2017. Walang KaParis, which means “no match” in Tagalog, will exclusively stream on Prime Video from March 23 in over 240 countries and territories worldwide, alongside Kita Kita (I See You).

The story of Walang KaParis follows Jojo, played by Empoy Marquez, a Filipino artist in Paris who is searching for the muse that has inspired his paintings for years. Alessandra De Rossi’s character, Marie, claims to be the woman behind Jojo’s paintings, throwing him into a world of confusion and intrigue. The film is produced by Spring Films and Viva Films, and singer KZ Tandingan provides the original soundtrack.

David Simonsen, director of Prime Video, Southeast Asia, expressed excitement about bringing quality Filipino movies to global audiences, saying that Walang KaParis is an example of the kind of local stories that are highly enjoyable and unique. The film joins hundreds of other Filipino shows and movies in the Prime Video catalog, along with acclaimed Amazon Originals like The Boys, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. Prime Video members can enjoy a 7-day promotional trial and stream Walang KaParis on hundreds of compatible devices, including mobile devices and tablets. They can also download episodes on their mobile devices and watch them offline at no additional cost.
