After a two-year hiatus since the debut of ‘her,’ the Korean-based romantic indie pop band ADOY is back with their eagerly awaited album, ‘PLEASURES,’ featuring the captivating title track “Love Is.” You can listen to it here: https://orcd.co/adoy_pleasures

‘PLEASURES’ is an album that delves into the various joys and beautiful moments in life, as well as the longing and apprehension that often follow. It encompasses a total of 8 distinct tracks.

From the title song “In Love,” which gracefully recounts the experience of falling in love, to “Avenue,” a nostalgic journey through youthful memories, and “Touch,” a dreamy portrayal of an ethereal paradise, the album offers a rich tapestry of emotions. Other tracks include “Hack,” a love ballad serenaded beneath the Milky Way, and “Model,” a sweet ode to being infatuated with an imaginary cartoon character. “Long Distance Call” and “One Last Song” convey the warmth of affection, while the album’s closing track, “Jet,” captures the perpetual adventure of life.

While previous ADOY works resembled drifting clouds, ‘PLEASURES’ harks back to a shore that connects the earth and sky, enriched with more lush and expansive sounds. Each track on the album showcases ADOY’s adept storytelling, conveyed through a diverse range of tempos and atmospheres.

Furthermore, collaborations with drummer Chuck Sabo, known for his work with Elton John and Pet Shop Boys, along with sound engineers Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone of Sterling Sound in the US, contribute to the album’s mature and refined sound.

With the release of ‘PLEASURES,’ ADOY is set to perform at festivals in Bangkok, Seoul, Tokyo, and Hamburg. This will be followed by their debut appearances in Paris and London, culminating in a prestigious SXSW showcase in Sydney. ADOY’s top 10 streaming markets in Southeast Asia include the Philippines , Indonesia , Thailand  and Malaysia .
