Vilma Santos, also known as “The Star for All Seasons,” returns to ABS-CBN to celebrate her 60th anniversary in the entertainment industry. She sits down with “King of Talk” Boy Abunda in a two-part TV special titled “Anim na Dekada Nag-Iisang Vilma,” which airs on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z on February 18 and 19.
When asked why she chose ABS-CBN as the platform to produce her special milestone in the industry, Vilma shared her gratitude to the network saying, “My heart is here. I owe a lot to this station. ABS-CBN knows my entire life. ABS-CBN is already family. It has been a part of my life for 60 years. For 60 years, I have been with ABS-CBN.”
During the two-part celebration, Vilma takes a trip down memory lane and relives her early years in the industry, including her most unforgettable roles, such as “Trudis Liit” in 1963. The TV special features Vilma’s past leading men, directors, and friends, including Christopher de Leon, Claudine Barretto, and members of her loyal fanbase, the Vilmanians, present at the Dolphy Theater.
Moreover, viewers will get a glimpse of Vilma’s other sides, including her career as a public servant and her private life away from the limelight. The special also includes an exciting talkback segment with stars and leading players who have learned valuable lessons from her.
Don’t miss “Anim na Dekada Nag-Iisang Vilma” on February 18 and 19 at 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Jeepney TV, and A2Z. It will also be available on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel for seven days and will have a delayed telecast on TV5 at 10:30 PM.
