The award-winning full-table-service restaurant ensures that guests feel at home whilst enjoying the best of global cuisine

Araneta City continues to elevate Metro Manila’s food scene as it clinches the Food & Beverage Retailer of the Year – Philippines title at the prestigious Retail Asia Awards 2025, held on June 4 in Singapore. The recognition celebrates the city’s trailblazing dining concept, World Kitchens — a bold, first-of-its-kind restaurant located at Gateway Mall 2.
A far cry from your typical mall restaurant, World Kitchens redefines dining with its innovative giant, full-table-service format offering comfort food from across the globe. Spanning over 2,500 square meters and seating more than 700 guests, it’s a landmark destination that puts Araneta City on the map as a rising culinary hub in Metro Manila.

World Kitchens features 15 immersive show kitchens, each helmed by top international chefs, offering authentic dishes from various corners of the world. Among the culinary stars are:
- Chef Steve Ma from Hong Kong
- Masaki Watanabe, Takahiro Fujita, and Hoshiba Fumihiko from Japan
- Chef Dario Bonaccorso from Italy
- Chef Rajan Veeranan from India
- Chef Gale Tan Sun from Spain
- Chef Jessie Sincioco from the Philippines
Guests can enjoy a global feast at one table, with the restaurant’s AI-powered ordering system making the experience seamless and interactive. Diners simply browse the digital menu from their smartphones and order from any of the kitchens — all under one roof.
“This is not just another restaurant — it’s the first of its kind in Asia,” shared Andrew Tan Hock Lai, the Singaporean F&B innovator behind the concept. “World Kitchens merges technology with flavor, creating a dining adventure where multiple cuisines come together at one table, each crafted by independent culinary experts.”
Designed with modern sophistication and natural elements, World Kitchens features lush greenery, stone finishes, and six elegant private dining rooms perfect for intimate celebrations.
This award follows Araneta City’s win in 2024, when it was named New Mall of the Year – Philippines for Gateway Mall 2, underscoring its continued innovation and impact in the retail and lifestyle space.
“Our vision with World Kitchens was to reshape the way people experience food,” said Tan. “This award is a testament to that vision — and to the joy, creativity, and technology we’ve brought to the table.”
With this bold culinary concept, Araneta City proves once again that it’s not just serving meals — it’s serving unforgettable experiences.
