VinFast MPV 7 Named Official Fleet Vehicle for AMEM 2026

Eleven units of the VF MPV 7 will serve as the official electric vehicle fleet for delegates from ASEAN’s Dialogue Partners attending the 44th ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM44) and its Associated Meetings from October 5 to 8, 2026.

The 44th AMEM and its Associated Meetings will gather energy ministers and senior officials from ASEAN Member States, Dialogue Partners, and international organizations to advance regional cooperation across key areas of the energy sector. As ASEAN’s primary ministerial platform for energy cooperation, AMEM provides strategic direction for regional priorities and initiatives focused on strengthening energy security, accelerating the energy transition, expanding clean and renewable energy deployment, improving energy efficiency, and enhancing energy connectivity and integration across Southeast Asia.

The meetings will also serve as a platform for ASEAN and its partners to deepen collaboration on emerging technologies, investments, infrastructure development, and other initiatives needed to meet the region’s growing energy demands while building a more secure, resilient, and sustainable energy future.

As the official mobility partner for this year’s meetings, VinFast will deploy its VF MPV 7 fleet, highlighting the brand’s position in the Philippines’ electric seven-seater segment. Offering delegates comfortable, zero-emission transportation throughout the event, the deployment underscores the potential of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) as practical and sustainable mobility solutions.

Launched in the Philippines in May 2026, the VF MPV 7 is VinFast’s premium seven-seater electric vehicle designed for Filipino families. Its spacious cabin is optimized for multigenerational households, featuring comfortable seating across three rows and up to 1,240 liters of cargo capacity. The vehicle is equipped with a 60.13-kWh battery that delivers a driving range of up to 450 kilometers on a full charge under the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) standard. Its 150-kW electric motor and 280 Nm of torque provide the performance needed for everyday commutes and longer journeys.

This year’s ASEAN Energy Business Forum serves as a platform for key stakeholders to collaborate on solutions for a more sustainable and resilient energy future. For VinFast, the forum presents an important opportunity to contribute to discussions on clean energy and sustainable mobility while highlighting the role of electric vehicles in supporting the region’s energy transition. The company’s participation also reinforces its commitment to collaborating with partners across ASEAN to drive innovation and help shape a cleaner, smarter future for mobility throughout the region.

As VinFast continues to expand its presence across Southeast Asia, the company remains committed to making mobility more sustainable and accessible. Through an integrated ecosystem built around sustainable innovation—from electric vehicles and charging solutions to vehicle ownership and aftersales support—VinFast aims to make electric mobility a practical part of everyday life while addressing the evolving needs of communities across the region.
