Prachoom Tantiprasertsuk to lead TICA with a bold vision inspired by Dusit Graciousness—elevating Thailand’s standing as a world-class MICE destination.

Dusit International, a leading hotel and property development company based in Thailand, proudly announces that Ms. Prachoom Tantiprasertsuk, Vice President – Operations (Central & Southern Thailand) and Government & Business Relations, has been appointed President of the Thailand Incentive and Convention Association (TICA) for the 2025–2026 term.

Founded in 1984, TICA is a non-profit organization dedicated to positioning Thailand as a top destination for meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE). With over 30 years of experience serving the organization—including her recent tenure as TICA Vice President—Ms. Tantiprasertsuk brings a wealth of expertise, deep industry knowledge, and a strong focus on sustainability to the role.

Her appointment reinforces Dusit International’s commitment to shaping the future of Thailand’s tourism and hospitality industries through visionary leadership and values-driven partnerships.

“It’s a true honor to step into the role of TICA President after serving as its Vice President,” Ms. Tantiprasertsuk said. “At Dusit, I’ve always been proud to represent a Thai brand globally. Now, I have the opportunity to help promote Thailand as a world-class MICE destination in collaboration with government, private, and international stakeholders.”

Guided by Dusit’s four pillars—Gracious Service, Locality, Well-Being, and Sustainability—Ms. Tantiprasertsuk aims to embed these core values into TICA’s national MICE strategy to lead Thailand confidently into the future.

“My goal for TICA mirrors my vision for Dusit,” she added. “We’re not just here to compete—we’re here to lead.”

Ms. Tantiprasertsuk succeeds Mr. Sumate Sudasna Ayutthaya, who served as TICA President for an impressive 16 years. Inspired by his legacy, she is committed to continuing TICA’s reputation for professionalism, transparency, and inclusive leadership development.

Her appointment also highlights the broader leadership role Dusit International plays in shaping the industry.

  • Mr. Chanin Donavanik, Dusit’s Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Executive Committee, serves as Honorary Advisor to the Thai Hotels Association (THA) and President of the Thai Hotels Standard Foundation. He has also held key regional roles, including President of the ASEAN Hotel and Restaurant Association and Advisory Board Member at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
  • Ms. Suphajee Suthumpun, Dusit’s Group CEO, is an Advisory Board Member of the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) Asia and a Board Member at the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University—contributing strategic guidance to regional hospitality growth.

Dusit’s industry impact extends to education through its hospitality education arm, which includes Dusit Thani College, Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School, and The Food School. These institutions equip students with globally competitive skills and regularly participate in international competitions and academic forums, such as WorldSkills Lyon 2024 and the Travel and Tourism Research Association’s (TTRA) seminar on sustainable transformations in Asia Pacific.

“From executive leadership to hospitality education, Dusit continues to lead by example,” said Ms. Suthumpun. “We are proud to support our team’s contributions beyond the company, and we are confident that Ms. Tantiprasertsuk will continue to advance Thailand’s global presence in the MICE sector through her new role at TICA.”
