The brand recently held its 2025 TCL Grand Launch at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila, honoring its journey under the theme “Legendary Moment, Timeless Greatness.”

The event wasn’t just about looking back at two and a half decades of success—it was also about stepping into a future powered by game-changing technology. TCL was recently recognized as the Triple Global Top 1 TV Brand in Mini-LED, Google TV, and Ultra-Large Screen TVs (85 inches and above) by OMDIA 2024, cementing its global leadership in entertainment technology.

25 Years of Innovation in Filipino Homes

TCL has consistently shaped the way Filipinos live—transforming everyday routines through intuitive, energy-efficient technology. From immersive TVs that enhance how families enjoy local teleseryes to smart air conditioners and powerful yet economical washing machines, TCL products are designed with real Filipino needs at heart.

Griffin Zhang, General Manager of TCL’s Asia Pacific Business Group, opened the night by highlighting the brand’s success in the Philippine market. “TCL has achieved remarkable results here. Our TVs and air conditioners lead in market share, while our refrigerator and washing machine categories continue to grow rapidly,” he said. “With your continued support, we’ll keep innovating and delivering quality to every Filipino home.”

Peter Chen, CEO of TCL Philippines, shared the brand’s bold direction moving forward: “We are not followers—we are trailblazers. For TCL, innovation means pushing beyond limits. From fashion-forward tech designs to premium experiences, we’re committed to creating a smarter, more artistic, and sustainable lifestyle.”

The evening showcased TCL’s next-gen lineup, featuring cooler, cleaner, smarter, and sharper technologies that promise to revolutionize daily living.

Highlights included:

  • The X11K QD-MiniLED TV, revealed by Charlie Huang, TCL Philippines’ Deputy Product Director of Brownline.
  • The TCL FreshIn 3.0 Air Conditioner, introduced by Bert Cheung, Deputy Product Director for Air Conditioners.
  • The TCL Super Drum Combo+ C682 Front Load Washer and Dryer, and the AAT Inverter+ C436BMSB Bottom Mounted Refrigerator, presented by Eric Li, Senior Product Manager of Washing Machines and Refrigerators.

Global Partnerships and Olympic Spirit

One of the most inspiring moments of the night was the celebration of TCL’s partnership with the International Olympic Committee, a collaboration that runs through 2032. This global alliance underscores TCL’s commitment to performance, sustainability, and world-class innovation.

“TCL believes in the power to ‘Inspire Greatness,’ just like the Olympics,” shared Shae Yu, Deputy Director of Marketing, TCL Philippines. “This partnership lets us bring that Olympic spirit into people’s homes—not just with gadgets, but with meaningful experiences that are sleek, smart, and sustainable.”

To highlight this partnership, Filipino pole vaulter EJ Obiena—world No. 4 and Asian record-holder—graced the stage as a special guest. “Just like TCL, athletes constantly seek improvement. We’re always asking, ‘What can I do today to get better?’ That’s what greatness is about,” said Obiena.

Celebrating New Brand Partners

TCL also welcomed its newest celebrity ambassadors: Valeen Montenegro and Rhian Ramos. Both expressed their excitement at joining a brand that’s deeply rooted in innovation and lifestyle excellence.
