In celebration of Araw ng Kagitingan, Casino Plus, in partnership with AR Foundation, has officially launched “Hero for All: Honoring Stories of the Everyday Filipino”—a nationwide search that shines a spotlight on ordinary individuals whose extraordinary acts of kindness uplift communities.

The initiative kicked off with its launch event, “Hero for All: First Door Opens,” held at Fairmont Hotel, hosted by broadcast journalist Pinky Webb and led by award-winning actor and advocate Alden Richards.

At its core, the campaign redefines heroism—not as grand gestures reserved for a few, but as everyday acts of compassion, courage, and service. More than recognition, the program aims to empower individuals to expand their impact and inspire a ripple effect of kindness across communities.

Structured as a national search, Hero for All goes beyond storytelling. It seeks to identify and amplify grassroots models of heroism—initiatives that have long existed but often lack institutional support. Each of the 20 selected heroes will receive a trophy and a total of ₱1 million, shared between their chosen cause and a partner community organization, ensuring that recognition leads to meaningful, sustained change.

Alden Richards emphasized the campaign’s deeper purpose: reshaping how society views heroism. “Today’s heroes are everyday Filipinos who, despite their own struggles, still choose to help others,” he shared, highlighting the importance of normalizing acts of kindness as powerful, transformative forces.

The initiative, which began in December 2025, reflects Casino Plus’ commitment as a responsible gaming platform licensed by Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation to support impactful community-driven programs.

Nominations run from April 10 to May 1, 2026, and are open to the public through Casino Plus’ official social media channels, as well as offline nomination postcards distributed nationwide—ensuring accessibility even for those with limited internet access. Submissions require basic nominee details, a short description of their act of service, and supporting materials such as photos, links, or endorsement letters. Video entries may also be submitted using the hashtag #CasinoPlusHeroForAll.

To uphold integrity, all entries will undergo a rigorous validation and scoring process, with a distinguished jury panel composed of an academician, a media personality, a PAGCOR representative, and Alden Richards himself.

The journey will culminate in the Grand Hero for All Awarding Ceremony on August 31, 2026, in celebration of National Heroes Day—bringing the campaign full circle as it honors modern-day heroes and inspires a nation to recognize the power of everyday goodness.
