Samsung’s interactive art installation at Art Basel Hong Kong inspired Solenn and other attendees to gain a new appreciation for digital art.
As the digital world continues to expand, so too does the world of art. No longer confined to traditional canvases or galleries, creativity today flourishes across digital platforms—transforming not just how art is made, but how it’s experienced. At this year’s Art Basel Hong Kong, Samsung celebrated this evolution with its immersive Art Cube lounge, where innovation and imagination came together in a striking display of modern artistry.

Founded in 1970 in Basel, Switzerland, Art Basel has become one of the most influential events in the global art scene, renowned for its curatorial excellence and trendsetting presence. This year, Samsung partnered with Art Basel to spotlight the growing influence of digital art and how technology is reshaping how we engage with creative expression.
From the early days of Tumblr and DeviantArt to the image-driven ecosystems of Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), digital platforms have empowered artists to share their work with the world. Samsung is building on this digital legacy with a bold mission: to transform everyday living spaces into curated personal galleries.
Among the featured guests at Art Basel Hong Kong was Filipino artist and actress Solenn Heussaff, who explored the Art Cube lounge and experienced first-hand how Samsung’s technology brings digital masterpieces to life.
The Frame TV: A Masterpiece in Itself
At the center of the Samsung exhibit was The Frame TV, recognized as the Official Art TV of Art Basel. Under the theme “Borderless: Dive into the Art,” The Frame TV redefined what a modern gallery can look like—showcasing exquisite works of art in stunning 4K QLED resolution with 100% Color Volume, capturing every brushstroke, texture, and nuance with incredible realism.
Solenn Heussaff joined fellow attendees in exploring a curated collection of 23 digital works by celebrated international artists including Zhu Jinshi, Jimok Choi, and Bae Yoon Hwan. Displayed on Samsung’s premium lineup of The Frame, Neo QLED 8K, and MICRO LED TVs, the artworks appeared so vivid and lifelike, they looked painted directly onto the screens.

“Seeing how this sleek TV brings over 2,600 stunning artworks to life is just unreal!” Solenn shared on Instagram, expressing her awe at how technology is revolutionizing the art-viewing experience.
Design Meets Functionality
Beyond performance, The Frame is a design statement. With its ultra-slim profile and customizable bezels, it blends effortlessly into any interior—seamlessly transitioning from high-performance TV to art display with its Art Mode feature.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Art Store offers users access to a vast and ever-growing library of over 3,000 artworks from world-renowned museums and galleries. Regular updates ensure users always have something new to discover—making The Frame not just a screen, but a window into the evolving world of global art.
Technology That Celebrates Creativity
Through its Art Basel Hong Kong showcase, Samsung reaffirmed its vision: technology should not just display art—it should elevate it. The Frame TV is more than an entertainment device. It’s a canvas. A gallery. A conversation piece. And for art lovers, it’s a way to experience the world’s finest works—right at home.
