ABS-CBN Corporation proudly marks its sixth recognition with the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) Golden Arrow Award, conferred by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) for excellence in corporate governance.

The award highlights ABS-CBN’s strong compliance with the Philippine Code of Corporate Governance and internationally recommended practices, placing it among the top publicly listed and insurance companies in the Philippines based on the 2024 ACGS and Corporate Governance Scorecard (CGS) assessment.

ABS-CBN corporate secretary Atty. Eric Quiason, along with Melanie Teodoro and Marvin Payumo from the treasury and investor relations team, accepted the honor on behalf of the company.

The Golden Arrow Award recognizes companies that achieve at least a score of 75 in the ACGS assessment, which evaluates 193 key indicators—including shareholder rights, stakeholder engagement, sustainability and resilience, transparency and accountability, and strategic guidance from the board.

The ICD, a non-stock, non-profit organization of corporate directors and stakeholders, underscores that the ACGS is designed to elevate corporate governance standards in the Philippines and make well-governed companies more attractive to investors.

ABS-CBN’s continued recognition reflects its unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance, reinforcing its reputation as a leading and responsible corporation.
