Shell Pilipinas Corporation is doubling down on Filipino entrepreneurship with the latest round of Shell LiveWire, its flagship enterprise development program. After a vibrant pitch event in June, the program has named three standout tech startup finalists whose solutions promise real impact across agriculture, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

Finalists pushing practical innovation

  • Agridom (SF Group of Companies Inc.) — drone-powered precision farming tools that help smallholder farmers boost yield and sustainability through smarter field mapping and targeted inputs.
  • Greentech Ecobooster — a fuel-optimization device designed to improve combustion efficiency, cut fuel consumption, lower operating costs, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Pili AdheSeal Inc. — a circular-economy pioneer turning agricultural waste into sustainable adhesives and sealants, supporting local Pili farmers while reducing waste.

These top three startups have entered Shell LiveWire’s acceleration phase, receiving tailored mentorship, development funding, and hands-on expert guidance to refine products, strengthen teams, and scale operations. The program also awards significant, equity-free cash prizes: ₱1,000,000 for the first-place winner and ₱500,000 each for the second and third placers — critical runway for growth-stage ventures.

Broader impact and recognition
Beyond the startup track, Shell LiveWire’s community enterprise stream supports 51 participants from regions across the Philippines with in-kind aid and grants to boost grassroots economic activity. Nascent Technologies Corp. earned the program’s A-Lister recognition — a special citation for promising ventures still in development.

To ensure transparency and integrity, Shell has appointed PwC as the official auditor for Shell LiveWire 2025. The program’s role comes at a pivotal moment: the Philippines’ startup ecosystem nearly doubled in value from US$3.5 billion (2023) to US$6.4 billion (2024), with climate tech, agritech, edtech, and healthtech increasingly leading investment and social impact.

What’s next
All eyes will be on the Shell LiveWire 2025 finale this September at the Echelon Event, where the top startup will be crowned and the next wave of Filipino innovators will get a platform to shine. With targeted support, financial backing, and strategic mentorship, Shell LiveWire is fuelling not just businesses, but inclusive jobs and sustainable solutions across the country.
