Shakira and Beéle Drop “ALGO TÚ” Following Record-Breaking Live Debut

Global superstar Shakira joins forces with rising Colombian hitmaker Beéle for their electrifying new single, “ALGO TÚ.” Released via Sony Music Latin/5020 Records, the track delivers a vibrant fusion of Latin and Afro-inspired sounds, showcasing the artists’ shared roots and creative chemistry.

The song made a historic debut at Zócalo in Mexico City, where Shakira and Beéle performed it live before a staggering crowd of over 400,000 fans—the largest event ever held at the iconic venue. The high-energy performance ignited massive anticipation ahead of the track’s official release.

“ALGO TÚ” seamlessly blends modern rhythms with traditional influences, including the distinctive sound of the Colombian gaita (pan flute), paying homage to Barranquilla, the hometown both artists proudly share. The track highlights their ability to bridge global pop appeal with authentic cultural textures, resulting in a standout Latin-Afro fusion hit.

This marks the second collaboration between Shakira and Beéle, following their 2025 reimagining of the global smash “Hips Don’t Lie”—which also featured Ed Sheeran—released in celebration of Shakira’s landmark album Oral Fixation, Vol. 2.

Momentum continues to build as Shakira gears up for another monumental performance at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro on May 2 for the Todo Mundo No Rio concert. The free event is expected to draw massive crowds, featuring a high-energy setlist of her greatest hits as she extends her global tour through 2026.

The release of “ALGO TÚ” follows Shakira’s record-breaking Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which was признized by Billboard as the highest-grossing Hispanic tour of all time. The tour generated an impressive $421.6 million across 82 stadium shows in the U.S. and Latin America, with more than 3.3 million fans in attendance.

Adding to an already milestone year, Shakira has also been named a 2026 nominee for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame—a testament to her enduring global impact and legacy. The final inductees will be revealed during the official 2026 ceremony.

With “ALGO TÚ,” Shakira and Beéle not only celebrate their roots but also push the boundaries of contemporary Latin music—proving once again that their artistry knows no limits.
