Available globally starting today, these exclusive one-take recordings mark another trailblazing achievement for the P-Pop supergroup
Sony Music Entertainment officially announces the worldwide digital release of THE FIRST TAKE versions of “DAM” and “Time,” two of SB19’s most celebrated tracks. Starting today, fans around the world can stream the newly released performances across all major digital music platforms.

The two songs were originally unveiled through exclusive one-take performances on THE FIRST TAKE, which premiered simultaneously on November 3 and November 24, 2025. These releases mark SB19’s triumphant return to the influential Japanese YouTube channel, where they continue to make history as the first and only Filipino—and Southeast Asian—act to perform on the platform, and the first ever to do so twice.
Renowned for its stripped-down format, THE FIRST TAKE invites artists to deliver flawless performances in a single, uninterrupted take. The channel has featured global icons such as BTS’ V, Harry Styles, Stray Kids, and Hitsujibungaku, making SB19’s return a significant milestone not only for the group but for Filipino representation on the world stage.
For SB19, the experience carries deep meaning. Group leader Pablo shared, “We are happy and honored to be back in TFT. It has always been our goal to champion Filipino talent and perform on a globally recognized platform. This is a huge opportunity and honor for us, and we are excited to share our passion with the world.”
Stell echoed this sentiment, highlighting the importance of visibility and representation. “Our first appearance already made an impact, and this return makes us even prouder. Performing on THE FIRST TAKE is a huge achievement. It may not be a trophy, but it is an honor to share our music and represent our country. We hope that more Filipino artists will have the opportunity to perform on that stage and share the richness of our music with the world.”
Josh reflected on how far the group has come, adding, “We used to daydream about performing there, and now we’ve grown and are finally doing it—not just for SB19, but to show what real Filipino talent is.”
Ken emphasized the intensity and authenticity of the experience. “Although the performance is similar to what we’ve done before, we did the song in a single take. It really is a true one-take recording, and the first take is what they used. We put in a lot of hard work to give our best and perform without mistakes. We are truly grateful for the opportunity and feel proud that we were able to share this moment with everyone.”
Beyond their landmark appearances on THE FIRST TAKE, SB19 continues to break barriers globally. The group recently became the first Filipino act to chart on Billboard Japan, debuting at No. 17 on the Top Album Sales Chart with their Simula At Wakas EP, released in September 2025. Their track “Time” previously reached No. 1 on LINE Music Japan’s World Music Top 50 chart, while “DAM” holds the distinction of being the second most-viewed Filipino music video within 24 hours of its release.

SB19 has also made history in the Middle East, becoming the first Filipino act to enter The Official MENA Chart—debuting at No. 7 on the UAE Top 10 and No. 17 on the Saudi Arabia Top 20.
Justin summed up the group’s journey, saying, “We are very happy and proud to represent Filipino talent and to showcase the skills of Filipinos around the world. Being part of TFT for the second time is such an honor because we know this show is recognized globally. This opportunity brings us one step closer to our goal.”
THE FIRST TAKE versions of SB19’s “DAM” and “Time” are now available worldwide on all digital music platforms via Sony Music Entertainment.
