SAFC reported ₱1.48 billion in loan releases in the third quarter of 2026, representing an 18.78% increase compared with the same period last year. The growth was largely driven by sustained demand for vehicle financing among Filipino households and entrepreneurs.

Monthly disbursements showed consistent growth across 2,860 accounts throughout the quarter, increasing from ₱473.41 million in July to ₱478.64 million in August and reaching ₱527.35 million in September. The performance marked a new sales milestone, fueled by the traditional BER-month increase in vehicle purchases as Filipinos prepare for the holiday season.
“Beyond SAFC’s sales milestones, these achievements represent Filipinos who now have the financing they need to move forward, whether by providing a vehicle for their livelihood or access to new opportunities,” SAFC President and CEO Maricel D. Dejongoy said.
“We are proud of what the SAFC team has built this quarter, and we remain committed to sustaining this momentum and expanding our impact,” Dejongoy added.
In terms of product performance, Pre-Owned Car Financing accounted for the largest share of disbursements at ₱592.55 million, followed by Car Refinancing (Sangla OR/CR) with ₱538.25 million and Truck Refinancing (Sangla OR/CR) with ₱205.14 million. Combined, these three products generated more than ₱1.34 billion, representing approximately 90% of SAFC’s total disbursements for the third quarter.

Within the refinancing segment, JUANAsenso Car Refinancing and Truck Refinancing contributed ₱175.54 million and ₱98.15 million, respectively. These figures highlight the growing demand among women entrepreneurs who are using their vehicle assets to secure financing and support business growth.
“As we grow our disbursements, we remain focused on keeping our portfolio healthy through consistent borrower engagement and sound credit standards. For us, sustainable growth means reaching more customers while maintaining loan quality,” said SAFC Chief Operating Officer Azenith S. Cabrera.
As of the end of September 2026, 97.7% of SAFC’s ₱6.7-billion loan portfolio remained performing, reflecting the company’s established credit assessment standards and proactive approach to borrower engagement. Meanwhile, its non-performing loan ratio stood at 2.3%.
For the fourth quarter, SAFC plans to strengthen coordination with its branches and sales partners, enhance customer touchpoints, and broaden product accessibility in underserved markets.
With more than 100 locations across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, SAFC continues to serve individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses through its diverse loan portfolio. The company remains committed to delivering on its “Financing Made Easy” promise by expanding its reach into markets that continue to be underserved.
