PASIG CITY — As part of its third-quarter growth push, leading financial services provider SAFC announced the formal opening of four new offices in Northern Mindanao. The branch rollout is designed to optimize regional access to the firm’s diverse portfolio of commercial loans and retail financing products.

The newly opened branches are located in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte; Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental; Malaybalay City, Bukidnon; and Valencia City, Bukidnon.

This operational expansion coincides with robust and steady economic performance throughout Northern Mindanao. According to data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the region recorded a 4.9% economic growth rate in 2025, signaling a fertile landscape for new business ventures and commercial investments.

“Our commitment is to be closer to more communities and businesses. These new SAFC branches in Northern Mindanao strengthen our ability to understand our customers’ needs and provide financing solutions that help turn their ambitions into reality,” SAFC President and CEO Maricel D. Dejongoy said.

Through its expanding branch network, SAFC now provides Northern Mindanao residents, businesses, and transit operators with accessible credit solutions. The platform’s localized offerings feature new and second-hand auto financing, Sangla OR/CR, and BiyaHERO loans for transport workers. It also introduces the JUANAsenso Loan for women-led businesses, alongside property-backed options like Sangla Titulo and JuanTahanan loans for real estate financing.

These four provincial locations represent half of the eight new branches launched by the financial firm during the quarter. The other four offices opened their doors in Antipolo City, Rizal; San Jose, Occidental Mindoro; and the Tarlac municipalities of Paniqui and Capas. With this latest wave of openings, SAFC’s total network now spans more than 100 locations across the country.

Dejongoy added that SAFC will carry its expansion into the coming year. “Every new branch brings us closer to the communities that need accessible financing the most. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on making financing easier for every Filipino we serve and helping them build better futures for their families, livelihoods, and businesses,” she said.
