New aftermarket parts brand targets Toyotas out of warranty

At the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS 2026), Toyota Motor Philippines unveiled a new solution for long-time Toyota owners: T-OPT, a premium regional aftermarket parts brand designed to deliver dependable quality beyond the warranty period.

Built for owners of aging and pre-owned Toyota vehicles, T-OPT offers a practical balance of affordability and performance—backed by Toyota’s engineering expertise and commitment to quality. The goal is simple: make car ownership more seamless, even as vehicles age.

“At T-OPT, we believe in providing alternative car parts that are accessible to all,” said Mike Masamayor, First Vice President for Customer First and Value Chain Operations. “Our commitment to hassle-free car ownership extends to customers who own older Toyota vehicles and still refuse to compromise on quality.”

Already established in Thailand and Indonesia, T-OPT expands Toyota’s regional aftermarket presence, addressing the growing demand for reliable parts for older vehicles. It gives owners more ways to maintain the performance, safety, and comfort of the cars they’ve relied on over the years.

Built on Quality and Toyota Standards

From planning and design to supplier collaboration, Toyota remains actively involved in developing T-OPT parts to ensure consistent reliability at an accessible price point. The initial lineup includes essential maintenance and wear-and-tear components such as oil and air filters, wiper blades, brake pads and shoes, and clutch covers and discs.

These parts are compatible with key Toyota models including the Vios, Wigo, Innova, Avanza, and Hiace.

Masamayor added, “TMP will continue to develop T-OPT parts to meet the growing needs of its customers.”

Making Reliable Mobility More Accessible

T-OPT is positioned as a trusted aftermarket brand that expands access to quality parts through a wider distribution network. This ensures that Toyota owners can find reliable components whenever and wherever they need them.

Retail availability begins April 13, 2026, through partner distributors and service providers including Aerodynamics Commercial Corporation, HD Trucks, Guthrie Marketing, LCG Group of Companies, Motech, and Autoquix outlets.
