The 2025 Ad Exporium: ADPROS’ First University-Wide Extravaganza

Indeed, it was something to “ad” to this year’s unforgettable moments! The Polytechnic University of the Philippines Advertising and Public Relations Organization of Students (ADPROS) launched its first and biggest university-wide advertising conference, the “2025 AD EXPORIUM”. An event that paved the way for aspiring advertising and marketing students to find their niche and hone their skills as they step into the ADPR industry. 

Breaking Into the Creative Zone with ADPR Remarkable Leaders

The 2025 Ad Exporium successfully achieved their goal to serve as a door for Advertising, Public Relations, and Marketing students to hone their skills, build connections in the ADPR community, and be inspired by remarkable ADPR professionals. One of the event’s main highlights was its prominent speakers: Caleb Cosico, an award-winning Art Director and Creative Director at BBDO Guerrero, who made the audience realize the importance of taking the long route towards success as young advertisers strive to learn more and be more flexible as creatives in the ADPR industry. The second speaker, Joey David Tiempo, the founder and CEO of Octopus & Whale, a game and experience design company based in Manila, impacted the audience with her discussions highlighting the importance of pouring love and passion into the craft, and being more curious as advertising practitioners.

The program tackled the various avenues laid out in the world of advertising, including in-depth talks with the speakers on how they discovered their niche that kept their passion burning, breakthrough stories, and how they continuously coped with the fast-changing trends in the industry. Their insights into the inner workings of their respective areas were necessary factors in motivating future creative leaders as they search for what will ignite their passion in their ADPR journey.

2025 AD EXPORIUM Event Partners

Aside from this, the various interactive booths strengthened the connection of the ADPR community through different engaging activities. The participation of the charismatic hosts Farley Jebb Gauran, a JBL ambassador, and Hyang Mi Nitro, the former host of Catch Up with Adverkada, made this event more engaging and thrilling. The program also included performances from “Let’s Get Drag Season 2 Queens”, a group of Drag Queens that featured Mona Hillary, Sugar Doll, Shack Daidana, Ate Joanna Marie Sun-Og Haus, and Sophie Guelluxé. Their ambassador Janelle Pajarillo amplified the event’s message. Of course, this event wouldn’t have been complete without the sponsors, Paradise Mountain, Mr. Hat Gulaman, Midoko, Motivo, and Gang Gang Chicken.

This much-anticipated event was held last July 2, 2025, at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Bulwagang Balagtas. With this, the Advertising and Public Relations Organization of Students under the College of Communication of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Sta. Mesa Manila successfully accomplished its mission to hone the skills of future creative leaders in the ADPR industry.
