Promoting Healthy Gaming: MLBB Philippines Encourages Students with Community Cup

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Philippines, in collaboration with Xiaomi Philippines, has concluded its campus visits at National University – Laguna and Technological Institute of the Philippines – Quezon City. These visits were designed to promote healthy gaming, teamwork, and a sense of belonging among students through a variety of MLBB-themed activities.

The interactive sessions comprised word games, raffles, and a career talk facilitated by the international gaming publisher and developer MOONTON Games. The discussion focused on the array of opportunities available to students within the esports and gaming industry.

“Having a passion for MLBB can open doors to various career paths, regardless of your college degree. We’ve collaborated with numerous professionals in marketing, social media management, broadcast, logistics, talent management, and operations, all of whom play integral roles in orchestrating successful campaigns,” remarked Stephen Mabasa, Human Resource Head of MOONTON Games – Philippines.

Diploma o Diskarte: Technological Institute of the Philippines – Quezon City students attended a career talk led by MOONTON Games which also focused on fostering a healthy gaming community.

Furthermore, the conference also addressed strategies for cultivating a healthier gaming environment within the community, underscoring the publisher’s firm stance against trashtalking, cheating, and discrimination.

“Toxicity in gaming encompasses various negative behaviors that can contribute to a hostile and unwelcoming atmosphere. As gamers, it’s essential for us to acknowledge and address these behaviors to nurture a healthier community,” Mabasa emphasized.

MLBB has been proactive in implementing measures both within and outside the game to ensure a positive gaming environment and promote an atmosphere where players can fully enjoy their gaming experience. This includes the integration of in-game reporting mechanisms, robust moderation and enforcement practices, and community-building initiatives like the aforementioned event.
