The Pokémon Company has unveiled fresh details for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, alongside the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and the upcoming Mega Dimension DLC—expanding the adventure in bold new ways.

Mega Dimension DLC Arrives December 10, 2025

The Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC launches on December 10, 2025, introducing additional story chapters, new gameplay content, and exciting challenges set within Lumiose City and beyond.

To mark the announcement, a new video highlighting the latest updates for Pokémon Legends: Z-A has been released on the official Pokémon YouTube channel. The Mega Dimension launch trailer offers a first look at what trainers can expect as the story evolves.

Limited-Time Gift: Alpha Charizard

In celebration of the DLC’s release, players can receive a special Alpha Charizard—larger, more powerful, and ready to dominate battles. This exclusive Pokémon will be available starting December 9, 2025, at 10:00 PM (UTC+8), giving trainers a formidable new companion to add to their teams in Lumiose City.

How to claim the Alpha Charizard:

1. Open the Mystery Gift menu in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
2. Select Get with Code/Password

Ranked Battles and Mega Stone Rewards

Competitive trainers can head to the Z-A Battle Club, where Ranked Battles allow players to face off against opponents from around the world. Rising through the ranks unlocks powerful rewards, including Mega Stones for Sceptile, Blaziken, and Swampert, which are available as promotion rewards.

These three Pokémon also appear in the additional story and content included in the Mega Dimension DLC, giving players multiple ways to encounter, train, and strengthen them as they sharpen their battling skills.
