PNB Holdings Corporation has been recognized at the Bantayog ng Lawa Awards 2026 for its advanced, eco-friendly property management. The corporate real estate firm secured the prestigious Bantayog para sa Kalikasan Award, which is one of only three core distinctions handed out during the event. The company earned this accolade specifically for its highly successful, sustainable water conservation initiatives implemented at the PNB Financial Center.

The award was officially conferred by the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA). Through the Bantayog para sa Kalikasan category, the government agency honors the specific efforts of businesses, local government units, and organizations that actively promote responsible water management. It highlights entities that champion the broader protection of the vital Laguna de Bay ecosystem and its surrounding region.

According to a statement from the [LLDA], the accolade is intended to spotlight programs that prove environmental conservation is an obligation shared by all stakeholders. The authority emphasized that collective corporate action can yield a deeply transformative, lasting positive impact on the country’s natural resources. PNB Holdings serves as a leading model for how local enterprises can step up to fulfill this responsibility.

At the center of this recognition is PNB Holdings’ state-of-the-art, onsite sewage treatment plant (STP) operating within the PNB Financial Center. The specialized infrastructure purifies complex wastewater before it is safely discharged. More importantly, the system recycles the treated water, channeling it back into the massive 10-hectare property to fulfill non-potable demands like landscape maintenance and grounds irrigation. This cyclical design drastically cuts down the entire commercial complex’s overall reliance on precious freshwater resources.
