Hope blazed anew for Muntinlupa native JB Bangcaya as Eugene Domingo hit the Golden Buzzer following his jaw-dropping fire-balancing performance last Saturday (April 12) on Pilipinas Got Talent Season 7.
JB stunned the judges and the audience with a daring act that saw him balancing blazing, discarded wheels using both his hands and feet. He capped off the fiery performance with a headpiece of fireworks and a spectacular fire dancing display.
Moved by his raw determination and courage, Eugene pressed the Golden Buzzer, sending JB straight to the live semifinals. She praised JB’s unwavering spirit and talent, emphasizing the Filipino resilience he demonstrated despite bearing visible scars and burns.
Judge Donny Pangilinan said he had been waiting to see an act like JB’s, while FMG (Freddie M. Garcia) admitted it was his first time witnessing such a daring performance. Kathryn Bernardo expressed pride in JB’s courage, telling him his parents would surely be proud too.
The Golden Buzzer is a coveted feature in the competition, granting each judge and the hosts a one-time chance to fast-track a standout act to the live semifinals. With Eugene now having used hers, only three Golden Buzzers remain up for grabs in the auditions.
