- Alula SC emerged champion of the Garena Qualifier, with ELEVATE finishing runner-up, as the two Philippine teams secured their places at December’s World Championship Finals in Mexico City

Alula SC and ELEVATE will represent the Garena region at the Call of Duty®: Mobile World Championship 2026 Finals after finishing first and second, respectively, at the Garena Qualifier, which concluded over the weekend.
The result capped three weeks of intense competition among 10 of the region’s strongest teams representing Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
Philippine teams ultimately dominated the Playoffs, claiming all four available spots. Alula SC emerged as champion, taking home US$4,500 in prize money, while ELEVATE finished as runner-up and earned US$3,000.
The victory further strengthens what has been a standout year for Philippine Call of Duty: Mobile esports. Earlier this year, ELEVATE and Alula SC also secured the top two spots at the Garena Summer Invitational 2026, although they finished in the reverse order.
Alula SC and ELEVATE will now join 14 other teams at the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2026 Finals, taking place in Mexico City from December 4–6. The event marks the tournament’s first-ever appearance in Mexico.
For ELEVATE, the global finals will also mark a return to the international stage after the team finished runner-up at the 2025 World Championship in Katowice, Poland.
Alula SC Completes Comeback to Claim Garena Qualifier Title
Following the Play-In and Group Stages, ELEVATE, Alula SC, Rival Esports, and Vizualz SKAERI advanced to the Playoffs held on August 29 and 30.
ELEVATE and Alula SC opened their Playoffs campaigns with commanding 3–0 victories, defeating Vizualz SKAERI and Rival Esports, respectively.
ELEVATE maintained its unbeaten run with another 3–0 victory over Alula SC in the Upper Bracket Final, becoming the first team to secure a place in the Grand Final.
Alula SC then fought its way back through the Lower Bracket, sweeping Rival Esports 3–0 to set up a championship rematch against ELEVATE.
The Grand Final delivered a reversal of their earlier matchup. After suffering a 3–0 defeat to ELEVATE in the Upper Bracket Final, Alula SC bounced back with a 4–2 victory in the championship series, completing its comeback and lifting the Garena Qualifier trophy.
With their spots secured, Alula SC and ELEVATE will now shift their focus to the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2026 Finals in Mexico City this December.
