In this eight-episode season, Christopher “Chris” Smith—better known as Peacemaker—continues his chaotic mission for peace, grappling with ghosts of his past while battling evil in his own brutally heroic way.
Returning cast members include John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick. Joining the action this season are newcomers Frank Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez, and Tim Meadows.
All eight episodes were penned by James Gunn, who also directs three episodes, including the season premiere. Gunn serves as executive producer alongside Peter Safran and John Cena. Directors Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett, and Alethea Jones also join this season’s creative team. Peacemaker is based on characters from DC and produced by Gunn’s Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company in association with Warner Bros. Television.
