The initiative brings the school a “Xiaomi-Powered Room” that provides students a better learning environment
In its continued commitment to education and community upliftment, Xiaomi Philippines, in partnership with World Vision, proudly took part in Brigada Eskwela 2025—this time, transforming a public school in Malabon City into a more dynamic and tech-empowered learning space.
Brigada Eskwela, the Department of Education’s annual nationwide campaign, mobilizes communities to clean, repair, and prepare public schools ahead of the new academic year. Since 2024, Xiaomi Philippines has gone above and beyond the usual bayanihan spirit by introducing smart innovations into the classroom—aiming not just to renovate, but to revolutionize how students learn.
A Smarter, Brighter Future Starts Here
At the heart of this year’s participation was the unveiling of a newly transformed “Xiaomi-Powered Room”—a modern learning space fully equipped with cutting-edge smart devices. The donated technology includes:
- Xiaomi smart TVs
- Smart fans and air purifiers
- Smart cameras and Wi-Fi mesh systems
- A smart projector and smart vacuum cleaner
These additions are designed to create a more interactive, comfortable, and connected classroom experience, demonstrating how technology can uplift education in public schools.
Bayanihan + Innovation
The event brought together an enthusiastic team of Xiaomi and World Vision volunteers, all working side-by-side with the school community to repaint walls, deep-clean rooms, and organize learning spaces. The day culminated in a turnover ceremony celebrating the official launch of the Xiaomi-powered classroom.
To further support students, Xiaomi also distributed school bags filled with essential supplies, giving learners the tools they need to start the school year strong.

“It always takes a village to educate a child,” said Nenita Rivera, the school’s head. “We are deeply grateful to partners like Xiaomi and World Vision. This support will have a lasting impact on both our teachers and students.”
