MANILA, Philippines — Entrepreneurs and professional content creators are lending strong support to MOVE IT’s new brand promise, “Keep Moving,” calling it a timely response to the realities of Metro Manila traffic and the growing need for smarter urban mobility.

At a panel discussion hosted by Alex Sy, podcast host and lifestyle influencer Stephanie Zubiri, medical professional and commercial model Phil Gomez, and actress-entrepreneur Wilma Doesnt shared candid reflections on how traffic congestion disrupts productivity, drains energy, and eats into precious personal time.

“For me it takes away peace of mind. Time for myself,” Zubiri shared, explaining how heavy traffic forces her to sacrifice moments meant for family and personal well-being. Gomez echoed the sentiment, describing how long commutes sap focus and energy before the day even truly begins. “Ang pinaka-ayaw ko doon is ’yung late ako… as much as I value my time, ganoon din ako sa ibang tao,” he said.

With schedules packed with meetings, shoots, deadlines, and family responsibilities, the panelists pointed to MOVE IT as a practical choice for urban achievers determined to protect their momentum and make every hour count.

Traffic Reality Fuels Demand for Smarter Mobility

The discussion highlighted a reality familiar to many commuters. Based on TomTom Traffic Index data for Metro Manila in 2025, motorists lose an estimated 143 hours a year in rush-hour congestion—nearly six full days stuck in traffic.

This challenge is at the heart of MOVE IT’s new campaign, fronted by Doesnt through a fast-paced, humorous online ad that mirrors the everyday struggle of city commuters. In it, she underscores a simple truth: when days are full, being stuck in traffic cannot be part of the routine.

“Mag-adjust, mag-adapt… hindi p’wedeng ang traffic ang magnanakaw ng joy mo for the day,” Doesnt said, urging commuters to embrace new ways of moving around the metro. “I choose to keep moving with MOVE IT because I make time for what I choose to have in my life.”

Zubiri added that the platform gives her greater control over her schedule. “I choose to keep moving with MOVE IT because I only have one precious life. I don’t want to waste a moment of it,” she said.

Built on Reliability, Safety, and Professionalism

The panel’s key takeaway reinforced MOVE IT’s positioning as a smart mobility option in rapidly evolving urban centers. According to Wayne Jacinto, the “Keep Moving” promise centers on helping commuters move forward safely, reliably, and with professionalism they can trust.

The initiative is powered by platform-exclusive reliability tools such as intelligent trip routing, rider matching, and GrabMaps and Navigation—features designed to deliver accurate ETAs, smarter pick-up and drop-off points, and routes that adjust to real-time road conditions. MOVE IT also uses Back-to-Back Bookings, which assigns a rider’s next trip before the current one ends, reducing idle time and keeping commuters on schedule.

On safety, the platform highlights in-app tools like Trip Monitoring and Share Your Ride, along with rider accountability systems and community-led standards. Professionalism rounds out the promise, supported by strict screening, training, hygiene protocols, and service discipline for rider-partners.

Zubiri attested to this during the panel, noting that rider professionalism stands out. “They really take their jobs seriously… that’s the value MOVE IT brings—their riders are educated, empowered, and there’s a level of professionalism you won’t find anywhere else,” she said.

Moving Forward

The launch of the “Keep Moving” promise was led by Jacinto alongside Doesnt, Zubiri, Gomez, and MOVE IT Rider-Partner and Community Leader Racma Macato-on Talib—underscoring the platform’s commitment to building a commuter-first ecosystem.

As Metro Manila continues to grapple with congestion, MOVE IT is betting that a blend of technology, safety, and service excellence will resonate with professionals who simply cannot afford to slow down.

“Keep Moving is our promise to commuters that MOVE IT is the smart mobility choice that is built to help you move forward,” Jacinto said—“safely, reliably, and with professionalism you can trust.”
