In a vibrant show of solidarity and environmental commitment, over 300 Monde Nissin employees laced up for SILAKBO 2025 (Sikad-Lakad-Takbo)—a fun run that goes far beyond fitness. Held at South Evozone in Nuvali, the annual event marked its 17th year by rallying participants under the powerful theme: “Our Power, Our Planet.”
Organized by the Save Silang Santa Rosa River (S3R2) Foundation, in partnership with the City Government of Santa Rosa, Laguna, and Nuvali, SILAKBO continues to serve as the flagship advocacy campaign to protect the Silang-Santa Rosa Sub-watershed and drive sustainable development in the region.
A long-standing advocate of sustainability, Monde Nissin mobilized hundreds of employees to take part in the event—living out its mission of “Making Better Possible.” The initiative reinforced the company’s holistic approach to employee engagement, environmental stewardship, and community-building.
“This isn’t just a fun run—it’s a reflection of our collective commitment to the planet and to one another,” shared Marie Perona, Senior Manager for People and Culture at Monde Nissin. “We believe in creating meaningful experiences that support our people’s well-being while making a positive impact in the communities we serve.”
Proceeds from the event will directly fund S3R2’s environmental programs, including watershed protection, water quality monitoring, and tree planting initiatives, further strengthening local efforts to protect natural resources.
