MMFF 2023 Hits Now Streaming on Netflix!

Attention viewers! Prepare for another chance to watch the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023 from the comfort of your home. Seven of the festival’s most popular films are now available to stream on Netflix!

The award-winning “Firefly,” which took home Best Picture and Best Child Performer honors, is not included in this initial offering. However, there’s still plenty to choose from!

We recently saw the release of the tearjerking “Rewind,” starring real-life couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. This emotional drama explores themes of love, loss, and the lengths we’d go to for those we love.

Looking for a laugh? The comedy duo of Eugene Domingo and Pokwang bring their signature humor to “Becky and Badette” on April 4th.

History buffs can delve into the past with “Gomburza,” which chronicles the story of three Filipino priests martyred during Spanish rule, available on April 9th. For a dose of chills and thrills, “Kampon” offers a supernatural mystery starring Derek Ramsay and Beauty Gonzalez, starting April 18th.

The streaming fun continues into June. Family drama takes center stage with Sharon Cuneta and Alden Richards in “Family of Two” on June 1st. Action fans can gear up for the return of the Filipino superhero “Pedro Penduko” with Matteo Guidicelli on June 7th. The festival wraps up with Piolo Pascual’s suspenseful “Mallari,” where he portrays a triple role, premiering on June 21st.
