Judged by renowned Asian culinary masters Chef Edward Lee, Chef “Pam” Pichaya S., and Chef Kelvin Cheung, the 10-episode series brings former contestants together for a fresh lineup of high-stakes culinary challenges, all competing for the coveted title of MasterChef Asia.
Filmed in Macao, a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, the competition features an exciting roster of international culinary talent, including Vietnamese-Australian chef Khanh Ong; restaurant owner Sahadol “Pond” Tantrapim; Malaysian pastry chef Marcus Low; Korean gastronomy specialist Areum Yoon; “Culinary and Cultural Ambassador of Meghalaya” Nambie Jessica Marak; and Asian cuisine chefs Audrey Wicksana, Therese Lum, Mime Kataniwa, Ivory Yat, and Macao’s own Sandy Tang. Adding even more star power to the competition are guest judges Mark Wiens, Abi Marquez, Chef Ken Chong, and Chef Julien Tongourian.
Set against the historic backdrop of Macao and produced in partnership with the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the culinary challenges will take contestants to iconic local markets, Michelin-starred restaurants, and an exclusive MasterChef Asia kitchen. Across these settings, competitors will be pushed to showcase their skills, creativity, adaptability, and versatility as they vie for the ultimate prize.
